Merveil wont respawn

Hi im new to this game and love it so far. I joined a party with a friend and he killed merveil while i was still in town. I left his party and tried to do it on my own so i made it through the first cavern and got to the cavern of anger which had shown that it was previously cleared by my friend and went into merveils lair and she wont respawn. I tried resetting the instance and it only resets the first cavern (wrath i think). I cant move on either because when i try to leave the cavern, it says i must kill merveil first. I've searched around and can't seem to find out what to do to fix my problem so please help!!

" Hey there, You will need to go into Cavern of Wrath, and reset the Cavern of Anger instance. The area Merveil spawns in is apart of the Cavern of Anger zone. |

ok how do i go about doing that? i tried clicking ctrl + left click on the white loading zone and nothing that i can tell happened

you would need to reload the area, go to the way point in town, when you are sitting in the map ctrl click the caverns and it's bring up a window which allows you to create a new instance.
Nothing in the game respawns in the traditional sense, the areas reset after a set time with you not in them (8-15 minutes). Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" When you see the entrance to the Cavern of Anger, Ctrl+Clicking will let you spawn a new instance. Be sure to click the 'New' button, and not 'Join'. |

ok fixed it and killed her, now the problem is that she wont give me my reward!!! there's no claim reward option when i talk to nessa
