Error: could not resolve host name while downloading

For the 2nd time in a row, it gets around 35% finished after hours and I get this error. Then it doesn't resume progress, you have to start all the way over

Why is this happening? I wanted to play this but it won't let me download it. Bummed out big time

I wanted to play this, but damn, that's disappointing. Been trying to dl this for over 5 hours now and just keep getting errors.

to hell with it

played it yesterday fine, but today everytime i run the game it gives me this error and a random file name. packcheck gives a bunch of errors but does seem to fix it. It would suck to re-download the whole thing again, any suggestions?

I've tried four times now. Attempts 1 - 3 were all after 50% complete, but still failing on random path names. Attempt number 4 was after I uninstalled it, redownloaded it, and then tried again. This time it failed at 9.72%. About to try pack check and cross everything I've got and hope it works. Will update then.

UPDATE: PackCheck is not functioning.. Entering it in the address bar causes a command prompt window to quickly appear then disappear. Trying to run or save it is fruitless, but for some reason I can view the file in its folder. I followed instructions on http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/18531 , but I got this: " 'PackCheck' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file." I am very confused..
