"Game is not available in your region" - Steam

I wanted to make some purchases, but I do not have PayPal. So I decided attach the game to my Steam-account to pay through it. But Steam says "Game is not available in your region". What is this nonsense? Free-to-Play game is not available in my region? You by yourself are limiting the ability of consumers to pay you money?

the problem isn't that it's a free to play game, but that they cannot accept stream wallet currency in certain regions.

What do you mean? I never had any problems paying USD for anything in Steam, and USD not my local currency.

I'm just saying that PoE is region locked, so you cannot buy PoE points using Steam Wallet in those regions. I don't understand or know the technical details of why.. I just know you can't.
If PoE is region-locked in Steam for you, then you cannot purchase points through it. The only way people in region-locked areas were able to install PoE on Steam were by using non-region links (?cc=us) which forces it to a different region... payments are still made in your region. |
