BrambleJack/ Anvil / Thorns Question

Do these items' reflect values get increased with passive nodes? Do they get increased by Le Heup and Redbeak?

This is a good question, any one wanna answer?
no.

and that's why reflrct sucks currently.

although, technically you can increase the damage those deal indirectly by increasing the damage mobs TAKE (p.e. shock stacks)

Or... the damage you take (running around naked aside from Abussys).
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth -
playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp.
It is my understanding that increased damage works on the types that aren't specific to spells, attacks, weapons, melee, etc.

Like the notable off the scion life wheel, should work with reflected physical damage.

I could be wrong...

BUT last time there was a similar question (about Death's Oath) the answer was about "No, passive tree increases damage YOU do, thorns/death's oath aura damage is done by the item and hence the nodes won't increase the damage".

By this line of reasoning, the damage on iron rings wouldn't be affected by physical damage modifiers on the passive tree. I believe you are wrong about the correlation here, I do recall reading about the damage aura of Death's Oath, but that is an active effect resulting from an item, not a modifier.
Reflect builds aren't really viable past cruel currently. There was another thread recently where we were discussing this in relation to spiked shields. Hopefully GGG will revisit its reflect mechanic at some time in the future.

Agreed, I would really like to do a true thorns tank, not just relying on CWS/CWDT and shock stacks.

iron ring and etc add damage to your weapon.

you do damage with your skills via a weapon, hence it is modified.

reflect damage on the other hand isn't "added" anywhere for it to be multiplied.

my DD build has +82% increased damage and my viper one is at about 160%, the damage differance (2 and a half times more) would be visible, it is not.
