I have 8MB/s internet yet I download 13KB/S.... do you have ANY idea how long it will take to download 5.1GB with that speed?

Hey, stay positive. Mine was downloading at the same slow speed you're experiencing for an hour and a half. All the sudden it kicked up to a steady 5-6MB/s and after being stuck at 20% forever it's now complete.

Yes, those are FREE hosts. And BEFORE you say that uploading same file on 50+ hosts is insane you should know that as long as you don't care to whose account the file belongs (i.e. you don't want to earn money as an uploader on this) you can use a free transload services who do exactly that. And SINCE the files are already uploaded at some server then it's not even uploading it ONCE.

To sum it up, owners/admins were too lazy to go through several clicks/1-2min of their time to provide alternate download links.... but let me tell you more, at what they WEREN'T lazy. At this: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/66484
Yes, that's the PAY topic.

Combining the 2 one can draw a very strong premonition that the game will be extremely buggy and with little or none patches over time, because the owners, like greedy sharks are only after your money.

Normally after disappointment like that I would have ditched this game and it's owners to the same black, bottomless bag of failures like TwelveSky and countless others, but since my friend's friend said this game is comparable to D3 I am gonna squeeze my irritation down and actually try the game whenever in the distance future it might be....

Relax, their servers are getting hammered atm...everything is slow.

It's just that since I work in IT I have rised expectancies of others from same industry.

ps: My download is relatively 25% more complete than it was before I wrote this post. From 8% to 10%.
