Is sad that a person that liked this game so much, as it seems from your achievements, is so frustrated from it. Anyway, I think you forced yourself too much on gaining all achievements in the shortest time, and you burned all the fun thanks for these heavy RNG walls PoE has.

Thank you for the answer. It is unfortunate for those of us that play on toasters that full party makes such a huge difference now in regards to unique drops. My computer would explode if I tried to drag more than one client into dominus.

Edit: and congrats again on completing it, I am pretty shocked you guys did it so fast, though I feel i have a better idea how, now.

In a sense this game is pay 2 win ;) Players with higher end specs indeed have an advantage over players with older computers.

This has been known for quite some time and remains unaddressed.

In terms of farming, a multiboxer gets the loot of a 6 men party without having to distribute it among players after the kill is made. (a 6-men party is actually less efficient to farm then it is to solo, a multiboxer bypasses this issue effectively)

Not saying i have anything against it, i just don't think you can achieve the unique challenge without utilizing this. Maybe if your extremely lucky, but then again, it is not really a big challenge to be lucky.

to give you a direct answer

we did multibox, i was the one running 6 clients, and if it makes you feel any better i had 15 FPS 90% of the time. (what i find hilarious is i thought i lagged because of certain microtransaction cosmetics that my 5 guys in town have to load that makes it laggy. I would inexplicably stop lagging during certain periods, but that's most likely not true, i just found it funny to jokingly blame players playing dress up)

also, that's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of dominos farming optimization. we did a lot of unconventional things that would probably shock most players. such as ignore 95% of all yellow items, not picking up 99% of all uniques, not identifying ANYTHING. and much more.

oh yeah, i forgot to menntion i ran all the clients on potato quality, 800x600 (i tried to go lower but the client would auto resize itself lol!) oh, and i still dominus, it's fun.

Thanks. I did in fact try this on merveil back when andvarius could drop from her. I could get a total of 3 clients in there before it started automatically D/Cing any additional clients to main menu. I doubt I could handle even two on dominus. ( I had texture quality set to 5, it was complete blobs)

I'm actually not shocked by the other stuff. I'm forced to pick up all yellows of a good base and identify/sell for alts, but if I had access to the good drops, it would be a complete waste of time. In just a couple hours in a 5 person party we dropped two BoR, abyssus, rainbowstrides, Primacy, and a couple others, but of course none of them allocated to me.

Mad props to you guys for completing it, I'd do it exactly the same way if I could. That said, I think multiboxing is pretty shitty, because it is "p2w" in regards to specs, but I have absolutely nothing against you doing it, because GGG allows it. Just like I would also cross league trade if that were still allowed.

yeah solo multiboxing has a big advantage if you are splitting the drops equally between 6 people.

if we couldn't dominus farm, the probably better option is trade chat farm, flipping currency, selling self made 6L, and the likes. that strat probably nets you faster wealth than dominos farming anyways. If multiboxing dominus were not possible, i would definitely not have completed all 8 challenges because i have low tolerance for trade chat farming things. dominos is a lot more fun for me. but i know sktrain would have completed all 8 lol it woulda just been more boring for him too, but tolerable

tl;dr if you can't multibox dominos, and you really want to complete the unique challenge, your best bet is probably farmin da market
