How does accuracy affect DPS

Say I have 1000 DPS with 50% chance to hit.

How much DPS would I have with exact same setup but with 100% chance to hit (resolute technique) or with 5% chance to hit (minimum possible)?

Can't seem to find any info on this.
Because the DPS display ignores Crit Confirm rolls, Accuracy can be described as a multiplier to your DPS. If you deal 2000 DPS not counting Accuracy, then 5% Chance to Hit would multiply that by 0.05.

So basically exactly as one'd expect.
Is this DPS calculation rolled into the tooltip?

I understand what you're saying, if my attacks deal 1000 damage and I attack every 1s, but only hit 50% of the time I'm effectively dealing 500 dps. Does the tooltip then say 500 dps, or does it say 1000 dps and I just have to factor in the chance to hit multiplier?

Tooltip would say 500 dps, but it's a best guess against the evasion of the monsters you are attacking -- as is displayed chance to hit.

will take the chance to ask something bothering me:

the hit chance is calculated for the same level as you?
normally I would farm the area way below my level, so even if my hit chance is low do I actually have better chance to hit the monsters several levels below me?

for example I have 80% chance to hit at level 80. I farm level 60 area. do you recommend to increase my hit chance or focus on something else?
what is estimate my hit chance against level 60 (with tooltip of 80% hit chance at level 80)?
The monster level your stats are compared to is capped somewhere mid level 70. Maybe 76.

Your Chance to Hit will be mildly better against level 60 monsters, but that's in the order of a few percentage-points. 85% ish? If you're going for Crits, that's fairly poor since you roll Accuracy to confirm Crits as well.
It's pretty obvious how it's calculated chance to hit in DPS tooltip:

Final DPS of your skill * (chance to hit/100)

So with 1000 dps and 80% chance to hit it becomes 1000*0,8 = 800.

Tested it and it seems to work like this, i think you can test it this way too: get RT, write dps down, respec RT, write dps down, and then make dps WITHOUT RT / DPS WITH RT to see the difference.

EDIT: BUT this equation works "perfectly" for monsters at your level probably; since chance to hit% is calculated against monsters at your level too (that's why it's reduced each time you level up)
