While it is true that ninja are traditionally Asian, particularly Japanese, there is no genetic predisposition in Asians to be ninja, and many non-Asians have proven that anyone, regardless of their nationality and ancestry, can be a ninja.

Therefore I think every class in Path of Exile, to be fair to all the different cultures represented by each class, should be a ninja.

Whether or not they are LGBT ninja is entirely up the devs.

Just my opinion. Out of all 6 playable characters, only 1 is even hinted to be Lesbian, but GGG never says it, as if it's shameful or something. She's reduced to a male fantasy (a hot lesbian girl, really? that's pathetic.) And then there's only 1 PoC you can play, which is the marauder. And of course the only strength-based archetype in the game cannot be female at all, as if to imply womyn are weak. So if you want to play a colored female, GGG doesn't want you to play this game. And out of all those, NONE of the characters are transgender. This isn't entirely surprising considering the game is made by Cis White men, but I'd like to see more fair representation in this game soon.
