Highly agreed. However, until I grow another seven or eight inches and can perform reverse dunks or bicycle kicks, I'm going to stick with watching sports on television, for the most part.

I COMPLETELY understand watching gamer streams if you're doing it to gain knowledge about game mechanics, character creation, etc., but I will never understand watching someone else play a game strictly for entertainment purposes. To each their own, though.

At the same time, it's ridiculous to bash followers for supporting something or someone that they are heavily invested in. It's even more ridiculous when one of the people in here attacking him and his fans for said support HAS GIVEN A THOUSAND FUCKING DOLLARS TO A GAME DEVELOPER.

Pardon, do you know my reasoning for my investment? No? And I clearly don't remember attacking anyone. Even Kripp. If he has the charisma to have so many dedicated fans willing to give him items then more power to him. I am not the type of person to form a passion for someone who probably doesn't give a damn either way. Thus I don't UNDERSTAND other people who ARE like that.

Just because I don't understand or have respect for fanaticism doesn't mean I'm bashing it. Especially when so called "fans" mindlessly attack anyone who disagrees with their chosen idol. Which, honestly, I see time and time again. PewDiePie, Tobuscus, Cry, YogsCast. But for PoE it's Kripp. I may have spent $1,000 on a game but you are lashing out at people who have a different opinion than you to protect someone who doesn't even know you exist.

Fans existe in anything literaly. If a fan wants to "be known", as little as it means, from some personality by giving them something, whatever.

I lost my shit when I met Day9 in real life. I was kinda ashamed of it. I had been watching his starcraft 2 analisis for almost a year. I completely fcked up in front of him. I just managed to ask for his autograph and couldnt mange to say anything else. I am a french speaker and my english just wouldnt come out at that time.

I was just overwhelmed being at MLG (candyland for me realy) and meet all those players/casters.

People do stupid shit and they sometimes don't even realise it until later for fandom.

I think hes the greatest person in the world. No one compares to him. Hes on his own tier in society. I would gladly give him one of my kidneys if he needed it.
