Share Frenzy/Endurance/Power Charges with Party (when they work)

Just a question regarding the mechanics of this.
WitchA: Has share power charges and +3 max charges as well as 3% spell cast per charge. WitchB: 100% Cold spec no power charge passives. Does WitchB get a maximum of 5 charges from WitchA sharing them or 8? Also does WitchB get the cast speed bonus of the charges? I'm assuming the answer is 5 and no but was just curious. If the answer is 8 and yes... WitchC has +3% cast speed per charge. No other power charge passives. WitchA and WitchC are in a party together does WitchC get +6% cast speed per charge on any charges shared from WitchA? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

You should only get bonuses based on your own passives. The sharing is just another way to activate the charges.

Well, they may well get removed from the tree if we decide they're too powerful, but the answers as I understand it should be 8 and no, respectively.
If you get a power charge, you get a power charge - if you can't hold more it'll reset the timer on your existing charges rather than increase the count, but you still got a charge, so one would be granted to other people, and they use their own maximum. Likewise, they have their own passive. Those stats are per player, and aren't stored in the charge or anything. You just get a charge, and your own stats (from passives) determine what bonuses you get from it. | |

You are correct, I misread the question due to the late hour.
Each person uses their own max - I thought the questions was asking whether a charge would get shared with someone who wasn't at their max if the person getting the charge was already at their max. | |
