20% quality items dont sell for armor scrap
Good day GGG
I have an issue where 20% quality items don't sell for an armor scrap aymore. I did some debugging on my end and traced the error down to magic items being prioriticed above armor scraps in the vendor recipe list. I also read in the previous patch notes that you changed around some priorities, so i am guessing this is caused by that. Attatched i have a couple of pictures that show the error in action. The first one has my debugg code, the second picture hovers over the white item(which sells for an armor scrap) and the third pic hovers over the magic item(that does not sell for an armor scrap);

The item with +20% quality has to be normal/white for the "one item" recipe to work (otherwise you need at least +40% in combination from multiple items). This is how it has been for a long time, if not forever.

How does that make any sense at all?
why would 1-4 shards be valued higher than 1 shrap/whetstone |

20% White item = 1x Armor scrap / wpn whetstone
20% Magic/Rare item = ½ armor scrap / wpn whetstone So you need two magic or rare items with 20% quality to get scrap/stone. It's working as intended. Last edited by Blah#3119 on Dec 15, 2013, 6:18:48 AM

" Again, how does this make any sense at all. Why would you devalue magic items like this? Wouldnt it make much more sense to try to get people to pick up blue items? when you cant even get a armor scrap from a 20% quality, it makes magic items so useless and it makes no fucking sense to me. why would a MAGIC item be less worth than a TRASH item? if anything, flip them around. |

" Pick two 20% blues and vendor them for a scrap? 40% worth of quality items will result scrap too (any rarity). If you think it's bad game desing, make a thread about it on the feedback board. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Vendor_recipes#Quality_Items Last edited by Blah#3119 on Dec 15, 2013, 10:03:11 AM

I agree, wouldn't you have it 40% quality for white and 20% quality for magic items? Since magic items are arguably rarer then white items?
