Feedback Volume 1:Gems and Familiars

Hi everyone.
This is not my first feedback on the game but i wanted to create a volume list.
I ve seen many of the things i gave feedback in the past have made it into the game while others didn't but this encourages me to give more of my ideas despite some of them to be less likely to happen.

So here we go

VOLUME 1

GEMS

Here i will talk about what gems i would like to see in the future.

#1 Fire Nova-just like the ice nova but with fire


#2 Hellfire-Fires raise from the ground around the caster that last for a short duration

#3 Heal splash-Gives life regeneration at the targeted area AOe for a limited time

#4 Vampiric touch Drains the blood of an enemy (ranged channeled just like blood omen 1 :)) giving you mana and life

#5 BurningHell Minions-Minions raise from the burning hells around you having fire on them reflecting fire damage to attackers preferably burning skeletons.The spells last 1 minute and has a cooldown of 2 mins.Additionaly the spell creates a burning area around the caster that has damage over time and gives more damage to the minions that attack inside this area.

#6 Fire Scull-yes i like fire :)-Cast a fire scull that can pierce through the first enemy it hits and explodes on the second making a small aoe damage.

#7 Mist-transform into mist draining %mana and getting immune to damage and pass through enemies At this time of course you are unable to attack but you can add support gems that can reflect back the atacks you recieve as fire,frost,poison,chaos etc additionaly the mist gets the color of the damage that can reflect to attackers.Yes it's stolen form SOTN with my twist because it's awesome.Lot's of my ideas are from SOTN and not only :)

#8 ShadowCast-Instead of spectres cast the shadow of your fallen enemies Can only be used on unique monsters and u can only have one.Size of the unique monsters does not decreses or it decreses a bit if the monster u tried to summon holds half the screen :)

#9 Spider Queen-Cast a spider Queen that poisons targets and infecting them.Enemies that are killed during the infection can spawn lesser spiders that die after 3 seconds or so.

#10 Spide Web-Cast a web on an area that slows enemies.Spider specters or spider minions deal bonus damage in that area and have life leach on hit :)

#11 Immolate-Cast a spell that burns all your minions draining their life slowly for 10 seconds and giving them fire damage as well as reflecting fire damage to meele attackers.

More ideas to come at later time




About Followers

Ive seen people that are still considering about companions etc.
So here is my take on this.

First of all companions is the worst thing you can do in a multiplayer game.

Swtor had companions and as a result the game became more solo firendly than multiplayer.
Diablo 3 has companions and looks very bad as well.

In multiplayer games there are people who like to have a companion and people that dont like to have one simply because the dont like them.
At this point we want to satisfy both sides at an equal level.
Lets say a guy likes to have a companion while anoother guy finds it to stupid to have one.
If the game gives you the ability to have a companion without sacrificing anything then it goes against the second player who does not want to have one.

Addittionaly companions are oversold nowdays.
Every game suddenly wants to have a companion simply because other games do.
This is the worst move a game developer can do because it goes along with the sheep.


So what could we do for the companion lovers without giving a hard time to companion haters.

In the form of gems witch means you will have to sacrifice other gems in order to have one

Im Introducing FAMILIARS.
Familiars have been in Castlevania symphony of the night and Dungeons and Dragons of course :)

What is a familiar?

Familiar is a magical creature that you can summon and obey your command and they die only if their life reaches zero witch has as a result to you,to be unable to cast it again for 5 minutes due to the connection you have established with your companion when your familiar dies you loose % of your experience.
There are a variety of familiars you can choose and each familiar can reach up to level 100.
That means that it will be the only gem type that can reach lvl 100.

Every 15 levels the familiar gets one new skill that can use when it feels it's right.

Yes Again this idea is FROM SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT one of the best games of all time and i would advice devs to play it in order to get a very good inspiration of how games used to be Ultraaaaaa.



Familiar Gems (Restriction Familiars have to be flyers only because ground familiars diturb player's psychology.
Addittionaly all familiars can talk to the player when they feel to.Just dont use those ugly immature dialogs that diablo 3 uses for his companions.They are just worse than shit.

Furthermore familiars have mana and life that can be enhanced by support gems giving them more mana to cast abilities more frequently or more life etc.

#1 Demon (flyer) familiar

Abilities
1-15 Passive Attacks with his spear a single target with a chance to freeze,immolate or shock.
percentage increases with each lvl

15-30 Passsive Attacks now make splash damage

30-45 casts immolation spell

45-60 Casts lightning bolt

60-75 Casts projectiles of spears that make fire,ice and lightning damage

75-90 Your demon familiar gives you fire,ice and lightning shield

100 Upon death your demon familiar casts discharge(no need to have charges)


#2 Bat familiar (cannot talk but can use bat sounds :))

Abilities

1-15 Passive Bat attacks single target each attacks have lifesteal.Lifesteal % increases at higher familiar lvls

15-30 Bat attacks create stacks of blood each stack gives life and mana regen to the player.Additionaly each stack vanishes after 5 seconds if no attack was made by the bat


30-45 The bat cast a fireball from it's mouth that creates a big aoe explotion at the first enemy it hits


45-60 The bat casts Echo in an area making enemies vulnerable to critical damage.

60-75 The bat casts blindfire aoe making enemies less likely to hit you and taking fire damage over time

75-90 The bat summons another 2 bats for 1:30 minutes that make double damage and can cast fireballs

100 The bat transforms into A dualsword vampire For 7 minutes 13 minutes cooldown having high attack speed
Vampire abilities
Passive lifeleach attacks
Silence stuns all the targets in an area
Burn Burns an area with fire around him
Transforms into a Demon for 1 minute giving him Double the amount of life burning constantly the ground around him

I m using the familiars of Symphony of the night cause they are awesome,adding my own abilities into them trying to give a unique feel to each familiar.
