the museum map boss is inappropriately hard

Most bosses are harder for some builds than others.

Museum trio is trivial with anything ranged because they have fairly low hp. They're the worst if you're melee and armor based, less problematic if you're melee and evasion based with Ondar's Guile. Having -60 chaos res is fine if you have enough life to take a hit and enough leech to heal back up quickly.

Shock and Horror, Piety, and all other spellcasting bosses are just a question of how high your resist caps are and how much spell block you have.

Except those Villa and Slums bosses. Bear traps do not give a damn about my evasion, acrobatics, or max block.
Place decoy totem near entrance. Body pull one at time. Profit.
I believe it would be easier if the area is a little bit larger. First time I went in I didn't even know how I died. (I died just outside the entrance)
The problem with the museum bosses is that there is no skill involved. I don't know what one of the guys was talking about pulling a single one of the bosses. The room is too small for that.

What I and map partner do is rush in, throw down a pair of decoy totems, and blitz the room down. There is too much chaos to single out a single one of the bosses. It is pretty much just a dps race. Thankfully all 3 of the bosses have very low life and once 1 of them and the trash mobs are dead the other 2 are manageable.
Keep PoE2 Difficult.

Oh yeah, the Museum bosses.
I run a CI build with something over 4K ES and I'm dead the instant I enter the boss room.

I enter the room, move a bit forward in an attempt to actually SEE the boss, then a barrage of spikes(?) flies at me from off-screen and next thing I know, I'm teleporting back to town via the Resurect button.

I hate to say it, i love the museum map. I always roll a twinned mod just for farming with MF finding gear.

Agree with OP.

Compared to other lower level map bosses,
i also find the museum EK-firing chaos damage boss to be very dangerous,
for both of my characters (both melee tho).

The bosses can be lured away one-by-one,
but with 73 chaos resist on gear plus the additional 35 from the flask,
my maradeur was still 2-shot in a second on a white map.

And the reward does not look any bigger,
its just multiplies by 3, because they are 3 bosses.

And the area is quite small.

And the fact that the other two are very easy
also makes me think that the third one is out-of-the-line-too-strong.

I just stopped doing museum maps.

But then again, every build has its weaknesses,
so it's ok for me to skip a few boss fights.

Don't think they should change i, unless all (or most) of the different build types
have a problem with it.
Even the unstoppable force can not break the unbreakable wall.

Orchard boss says hi.

Museum bosses got nothing on that guy.

Orchard IS OP
I also think the bosses here are overpowered. Died the first two times this evening, never even seeing what happened. The third time I didn't live long enough to leapslam out of the doorway. The fourth time I got away, cleared the rest of the room, but the bosses eventually found me and killed me nearly instantly.

The maps aren't worth playing if you can't kill the boss(es) so I won't be playing this one again.
Artir Armour mostly make the tities boss useless, only gotta worry about the chaos dmg one but easily counter by bring chaos resist flask.
