"Final" character wipe?

I have a question - after THIS wipe, will be another one after releasing Full Version of PoE or characteres made after THIS whipe will stay?

No this (23rd jan) is the last planned character wipe.

Does that mean that open beta is ~ release?
In other words, if I make a character in OB, will i be able to continue with that character through to release and beyond? |

" It's a soft release and yes since there won't be another wipe you can play with your character forever. |

This is the final wipe no more wipes after this one, you get to keep the character you create in OB for as long as the game lives.
