GGG said that, they didnt like how people would constantly chance things like kaoms and nothing else


so they made the chance for an orb to chance a unique variable and dependent on the unique

link pls. i still find it unlikely to give every unique a separate chance to chance.
One other thing to remember when trying to chance uniques is that if the item fails to chance the unique it can still chance a rare. If you used a ilvl8 ring and it chanced to a rare it would only get mods for an ilvl8 ring. so if possible I think it is always better to use the highest ilvl items to chance.

uniques have tiers themselves, GGG has said so.

this is why you always get that trash 1c uniques and never those 20-50ex ones.

same thing applies to chances.

i dont know if it is on a per item basis or if they are actual tiers though

seriously how do you want us to link it to you? anyone who even cares has to dig through about 50 post threads just to find that one GGG quote for you.

It is damn obvious that out of 10 unique occultist vestment out there my friends and I find only 1 is shavronne wrappings and vaults of atziri is produced quite often when we chance those maps but astramentis almost never appears.
yeah if you are truly interested go sifting through the patch notes , it was after all a patch note , you have a computer do some browsing
