Vendor Item Rotation

I couldn't seem to dig up actual mechanics but do vendors only rotate the items they sell after you level or is it time based as well (24hr cycle)?

As far as i can tell , its only on level up. Dont really like their method actually.

Interesting. Well if it does reset on 24 hr cycles, thats a little better. I can see why it doesnt refresh every time you leave town etc, as theres chances you could find 6os, 5l, etc. Based on how little i use vendors anyways, i suppose this really doesnt matter to me much.

I don't recall any GGG posts saying it is every 24 hours. In fact, the posts I have seen are them saying that if it DOES change on anything short of a levelup, it's a bug.

This is what i though too, strictly on level ups. Anyone verify this for sure with a cross link or something?

Just wanted to follow up on this and confirm that it does indeed rotate every 24 hours. First image is from 1:46PM my time yesterday and the latter is today at the same.

EDIT: actually, the more I look at it... it appears the items were just resorted. I should have checked the stats :| I'll check again tomorrow, lol.

LAST EDIT: yeah the items have the exact same stats, they just get shuffled around on a daily basis until you level up.

Basically, always be sure to check vendors when you level up.
