PoE ignoring my vcard gamma changes

Blah blah everyone wants a gamma slide.

However, poe is flat out ignoring the gamma changes I made through my graphics card's driver software. I have a GTX660 and have increased the gamma settings in the NVIDIA control panel, which has a gamma slider for the three colors.

I can see videos and other programs actively changing when I use the gamma slider, however poe refuses to respond to it. I have restarted both poe and my entire computer and there is still no difference in gamma setting within the game. It seems like poe is locked into some default setting no matter what I do.

What gives? :/ Or how can I fix this?
