How graphically demanding will PoE be?

compared to lets say Diablo 3 will it be better or worse? my computer HATES diablo 3 and starts to lag very bad in big fights. i just want to know if ill be able to play PoE after looking forward to it for so long.
Post your specs. Always, when asking a question about graphics, post your system specs.

As far as I can tell so far, PoE will be quite a bit more demanding than D3, for the time being at last. It's hard to get actual numbers on this, but some sections of the game (e.g. lots of sparkly skeletons) will kill my GFs PC while she had no trouble running D3 (not that either of us would have wanted to :) ). This may likely be a matter of a lack of optimization though, as is to be expected in beta.
Usually games in beta testing require more specs. But over time they become much easier to load on weaker computers, while the stronger computers can bump up the quality.

Many games beta testing out there demonstrate this easily. Hawken ran terribly on my GTX 670 until some optimizations were made, and up to now it runs perfectly.

PoE takes a bit of "oomph" to load, but nothing significant is needed. Again we need your specs though to tell you if you can load it.
Runs smooth as butter on this MSI GTX680oc with max everything, shadows, post processing at 1440p

On the lowest settings, I don't think a toaster can play this game, though some old hardware can probably run it with a low jerky framerate.

If you want some six-player spell-castin' action, get a good rig, that's for sure.

Optimizing the game is probably something they have planned for future polish, so you can expect requirements to be reduced in the future, but it may be some time before they've the time to do that.

yea about my specs.... Its pretty horrid, i bought this laptop to do school. when i check my graphics card it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics" so its not even a real grapics card.. and my cpu is 2.53GHz i think 4 of them
My laptop is 7 years old and it runs Diablo 3 a lot smoother than POE.
So I guess POE will be a bit more demanding compared to D3, but I have no problems playing POE, I have everything on low though, doesn't look too bad. I have occasianal lags though and that's about it.
Intel integrated graphics are coming along. It's no dedicated video card, but if you keep shadows off and keep everything on low, it might run fine. It's worth noting that you'll also want v-sync enabled when you play. You also need to watch the heat of your computer while you play. Keep the laptop plugged in as well, a laptop in power saver mode is not going to run this game at all, even if it's a beastly laptop.

That integrated chip does meet the minimum requirments according to:

Although if you're just at the minimum specs then expect to be running on minimum details & minimum resolution, if you're able to crank it up a notch or two then it's a bonus.
