Maybe Merciless Vaal, but that's a little bit harder. You should definitely equip 1-2 Quartz flasks since the monster density is pretty high and make sure that you are tanky enough to rush the Vaal Pyramids.

Set up your portal at the stairs in The Cavern Level 2, but since it might take a little bit longer to run and the portal can disappear if you take too long, level a dummy on another account for the portal who stays in the instance (Just open another client in window mode, lowest resolution and settings, run in background) or just ask a friend.

Farming Merveil is definitely easier, but farming Vaal is also extremely efficient since he drops ilvl 60+ items which you can use for the 2x Chaos Orb recipe (and he can drop Shavronnes, but we all know that's never going to happen :P).

So since I got bor on my face breaker I've wanted to get some higher MF. Right now I'm just using some iir gear. And my main skill is linked to iir iiq. I'm like 35iiq/100iir only way I could get more are Andy rings. But would this still be worth unique farming Merv? Or just stick to piety

Farming merviel its better to use rarity than quantity, youll likely already have more than you can pick up. Also, Vaal is quicker to run and has better drops from what I've seen. He is also less dangerous.

Well I do like almost 18k DPs so I'm not worried. And I haven't died to mervil or even close to dropping by 1/4 of my hp

Ok only got 2 uniques so far. a facebreaker and another 5-6th volls chest haha, but im loving the quickness and sell rate. Already have close to 2 ex in just fusing. Which isnt all that bad.

personally i run hillock because you can just kite him to death, run into town, open an new instane, and repeat.
I use these to rush to him and only stop for rares. you don't even need that many flasks because the map is so short. i always get rares off (or all blues if i'm unlucky since i'm overleveled).
~100% IIQ / 321% IIR.

EDIT: oh yes and great guide! is very useful for new players but your gear is too godly to really be helpful in my opinion... Might link a build that doesn't cost ~60 EX in gear?

If you just want to do some quick runs, you can do Merveil. But if you want some uniques with your MF, Piety is probably the better choice.

If you are mainly farming for rares, yes, rarity is better than quantity. But if you're looking for uniques, IIQ is still extremely important.
Yes, Vaal drops better loot. But less dangerous than Merveil? Interesting... :P

Exactly, a run takes no longer than 2 minutes and that's why farming Merveil is so easy and efficient.

I never got more than 3 rares from Hillock. Sure it's fast, but meh.

Sure, I can link some rarity/quantity items that are a good base for someone who's new to farming. Everyone can buy them relatively cheap. I'll do that later :)
