Only 3 acts pretty small game

I know they are planning on releasing it as a free game but only 3 acts is a very small game. Whats the point of playing it on Cruel or going any further other than gear an more level's.

I do Believe that chris also said that act 3 will add 50% more content to the game, and the only people who know about the quests would be the Alpha members, and they are under an NDA i believe.

Path of Exile will enter Open Beta with 3 acts and it costs nothing. They are also planning to add FREE acts to the game. I believe they have about a 10 year plan of what acts they plan to add to the game assuming the game is successful for that long.

Actually D2 at launch only had 3. The 4th was an expansion pack sold separately (until later when they started selling them all as a package).

D2 launched with 4 acts. Act 5 was the expansion LOD.

The amount of content in Act 3 comparable to Acts 1 and 2. The quality of content on the other hand is far superior. It's also worth mentioning that Act 3 will not be complete when it hits beta. There are definitely a few side quests and areas that didn't make the cut to get into the initial release due to time constraints. GGG will patch them in at later time when they're completed.

This was mentioned a long time ago. Who knows if GGG still intends to do this or not. I know that GGG has ideas about what they would like Act 4 to contain but as far as I know there has been no actual development on Act 4.
