Trying to make a Melee Staff Build
Skill Tree (101 Points): Templar Sweeping Staff Build 1.0
Main Attack: Sweep - Added Fire Damage - Melee Physical Damage - Life Leech - Power Charge on Critical - Faster Attacks Trying to go with crit chance as its one of the highest melee weapon base crit chances out there, seems a shame to ignore that fact (as most builds do). Any thoughts? |

im having trouble making a standard melee build. Im using heavy strike for single target and sweep for AOE.

" It looks a little squishy to me, mostly because of the low number of armor nodes, and more life nodes would probably help, too. Sweep is a skill I keep trying every so often too, because I like the idea of it. But since it isn't affected by the weapon speed, you'd want a staff that not only has high damage, but also a high roll for attack speed (the mod, not the inherit speed of the staff). I've not tried a Q20 Sweep, though. Another thing I wonder about is accuracy. |
