General Discussion - Trade chat in POE is beyond pathetic... Worst trade chat in any game ive ever seen - Forum

Some people would go hungry if they went to a country where haggling is expected and a common courtesy of the trading process. Just dive in and get use it we all had to at some point. If a buyer/seller doesn't like your prices/offers n no deal is made there's 100's of others buying/selling the same thing just move on. To many people caught up in the AH way of doing things where an item has a clear set price and you can get to it to buy it at that price at any time. My one thing i'd like to see in trade chat is if there was trade channels that where more item specific oriented. i.e Trade 5 was just for chest, trade 6 2h weapons etc. Would make selling in trade slightly more tedious but the cluster would drop dramatically. If you wtb something, just specify your budget. Today I needed clarity, so I went with "WTB> Clarity, paying 3 alts", instantly got few trade invites and a load of "got one for 2 chaos" "offers", etc. There are no prices set in stone, if you cant adapt, there will always be some one who will, and he will be better than you, and you'll be mad. I don't understand what are you complaining about. The trading is fine as it is, despite some slower people spaming their priceless stuff 5 times in a row. I like that you can haggle around and people are generally nice and friendly. Also you can just use trading forums and turn off the trade chat. When you people get an auction house (D3), you complain that people flipping items and that it's shit. When you get an old time trade chat, you complain again. What the hell do you want?
