How does point blank and trap interact?

Assuming I throw a trap right on top of an enemy and they trigger it does it mean the trap gets a 50 more% damage boost?

Also does poison arrow work with trap?

One last question; are trap damage, area damage and projectile damage modifiers multiplicative or additive to each other?

"Projectile Attacks deal up to 50% more Damage to targets at the start of their movement, dealing less Damage to targets as the projectile travels further"

a trap is not a projectile attack, so no. PA works.

But the trap shoots a projectile?
The trap uses the skill it casts.
The trap does not have your passives/key nodes.
The trap projectiles are not affected by point blank.

thatcan't be right becauser fire damage nodes obviously fire trap...

Inconsistent, but seems to be the case. However, point blank affects projectile ATTACKS. Traps use spells. And the Trap itself is no projectile attack.

You should read this properly.

"Creates a Trap which uses this skill when triggered"

"Supported Attack Skills cannot be used with Melee Weapons"

I've seen a multitrap RoA point blank build somewhere, so it should work with PB.

It has your trap passives........
There was a time I knew how all the mechanics worked, but this is getting so inconsistent because I DON'T KNOW.

If the trap counts as a different entity using a skill, then it shouldn't be affected by damage modifiers you have.

And if the trap is affected by damage modifiers you have it should count as if the Player uses the skill and doing no damage when Ancestral Bond is picked.

This shit is getting on my nerves.

Gonna have to read all game mechanics again to find the thread of logic in this.

Now that doesn't make sense. RoA's not a projectile attack!

As if things weren't confusing enough already...
