Culling strike and critical hit

Hello, i am running a PS crit-burn wander. I like a ring called "Gifts from above" which, amongst other things, gives increased rarity on crit kills.

So, can culling strike be a crit???? I mean i cant crit a boss dead from above 10% hp.
Since all of my boss kills will be culling, does that mean I will lose the ring effect??

You most probably will, technically, culling effect killed him, not a crit.
Not 100% sure, though.
