open beta US time

? about it, now on the forums all the times to me are eastern in the event races, so is open beta going to be released at midnight eastern time, I would love this as to being on the east every dam game that comes out is always released on pst time and 3 am for me always seems more of a drag on time

i did a rough time estimate and may be wrong but..
As best as i can figure - it is releasing New Zealand time at 10am January 23rd. I'm pretty excited about this. I Stopped playing games forever ago... in 5th grade I got Diablo and I played that until Diablo II came out, which I played until college. Haven't played anything since. This is the first thing that looks interesting. *Excitement*

" ok just so you know im eastern time and american, and a post from a while ago from Chris said US time why im asking what time zone it is, and according to my forums when I look at events US time seems to be est Path of Exile entered Closed Beta in August of 2011. Since then, we've continually added features, content, and fixed bugs as we moved towards Open Beta. A few months ago, we estimated that we would enter Open Beta in December 2012. Although we believe that we can have the build ready by then, we've decided that it’s too dangerous to launch the Open Beta over the Christmas period and Southern Hemisphere summer holidays when many of our staff will be away. We have therefore decided to enter Open Beta on January 23, 2013, US time. The final character wipe and deployment of patch 0.10.0 (including Act Three) will occur then. |

I've done the time 3 times now from the count down timer on the sign in screen and each time it looks like what Chris typed then has changed as it will be the 22nd eastern US time when PoE hits open beta.

at 4pm est is character wipe, then im sure there is DL patch and all why I'm thinking midnight 23rd will be game time who knows lol
