Correct, letting TB make a video about your game has proven to, if your game is not a steaming pile of crap, grant you at the very least a few houndred thousand free hits on the front page.



It costs nothing, he has fun playing your game, more people get to know your game (and enjoy it if they are interested into it), you get more people potentially buying it.

Really, it's not "doing this is a smart move" anymore, it's more like "not doing this is stupid as hell".
I don't know why some people throw their money away by actually paying for marketing, when all they need to do is handing beta keys (or free review copies) to popular youtubers.

GGG are masters of cost-effectove marketing it seems. They spent a bit for all the materials and associated costs for PAX last week but other than that pretty much everything was free. And now they have over 100,000 user accounts.

I'm hear because of PA. I hadn't even heard about this game prior to them. Ah well, I look forward to nursing carpel tunnel injuries because of this game. :)

I came because of Penny Arcade as well. Game looks great, somewhat frustrating that I can't try it out.

I have no idea what TotalBiscuit is, but I did come here from PA. The description Tycho made of the game was just. . . irresistible.
