Trap, Remote Mine, Passive Interaction

I have done a bit of searching and would love a little feedback from someone more informed than me.....

As I understand it:
- Trap(support) and Remote Mine(support) stack and are both "more" damage.
- The passives spread about the tree for mines and traps are "increased" damage.
- The passives spread about the tree for minions are "increased" damage.
- Remote mine and trap support gems are affected by the mine and trap passives.
- Remote mine and Trap passives and innate "more" damage does apply to minions.

So, with all of that I am trying to do some ¡¡¡science!!! and figure out how it all interacts....

I THINK this is how it functions....?

Additive = base * (modifier1 + modifier2 + modifier3)
Multiplicative = base * modifier1 * modifier2 * modifier3

right?

Okay, some numbers to work with:

168% increased damage trap passives in tree
162% increased damage mine passives in tree
135% increased minion damage passives in tree

From wiki:

Lvl 15 Trap(support) gem = 29% more damage
Lvl 15 Remote Mine(support) gem = 44% more damage

Now, how do we do the math..?

Perfect case (read unattainable):
All minion passives
All trap/mine passives

Simple Gem set(don't want to get into other support gems for simplicity):
Summon Skeleton + Trap + Remote Mine

Now is it like this:
#1
Skeleton Base * (135% minion passives + 168% trap passives + 162% mine passives) * 29% Trap gem "more" * 44% Remote Mine gem "more" = Final Outcome

Or this:
#2
Skeleton Base * 135% minion passives = Supported Gem Base
Supported Gem Base * 162% mine passives * 44% Mine gem "more" = Mine's Base
Mine's Base * 168% trap passives * 29% Trap gem "more" = Final Outcome

Or something else entirely?

I am a bit confused, lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Case #1 is correct. The other one would be beyond insane.

#1 seems a bit insane in it's own right :) Thank you very much, btw!

Hate to bump this essentially resolved post of mine, but...

Could I please get some confirmation that the support gems trap and remote mine do indeed contribute passive "increased" and gem specific "more" damage when linked with minion gems?
I believe the trap support only works with ranged attack skills/spells. Remote mine will work though. Remote mine is a bit of a pain for summoning on the fly or often and sucks with spectres. But if your zombies live a while it is fine.
I have tested and can confirm that the trap support gem and remote mine support gem -DO- work with the summon skeleton gem. If I remember right I have also tested summon zombie gem with the trap support gem, and it worked as well.

My question is not whether the support gem functions, but whether:

A: The bonus %MORE on the trap/remote_mine gem applies to minion damage, and additionally

B: The passive %INCREASE on the trap/mine nodes apply to minion damage.

:) Thanks
+ 1 I am interested in that too.
bump. do the nodes apply or not?! :)

A: Yes, and it's a multiplier, just like totem support halves it.

B: It does, it stacks with other minion damage increases form passives, gear and gem. It's already easy to get much increased minion damage so it's not terribly useful.
