unable to start pathofexile.exe. Please go to you Path of Exile directory and run it manually.

how do i fix this?

go to your path of exile folder, locate PathOfExile.exe, right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator".

right-click your shortcut and look in the properties, or do a drive search for it.

so when i found the program files folder and found grinding gear games i clicked..i have no path of exile but i have an E that says "client"(the shortcut same as the poe one on my desktop) so i right clicked and selected "run as administrator" and it still did not work

sounds like you have an old install. perhaps you should uninstall and reinstall path of exile.

" Make sure you're running as Administrator (right-click and select "Run as Administrator") Also make sure your shortcut points to PathOfExile.exe and not Client.exe. The Client.exe can be ignored/removed as it is legacy and is no longer required. |
