Two things:

1. Neverwinter Nights was a RPG-game from BioWare back when they still made good games. It was one of their last good games, actually.

2. The whole 'game' was mainly a rather advanced editor where we could make our own modules (or mini-adventures.) It was also easy to add in custom models, sounds, tilesets and all that, so we could change a lot in the game. In fact, the actual 'game' wasn't even added until quite well into development to give people who just wanted something to play a reason to buy it. We later got two expansions ('Shadows over Undrentide' and 'Hordes of the Underdark'), and while both are great, they are not really connected to the original campaign or each other.

Later on, Obsidian made a Neverwinter Nights 2, with a much better editor with much less content. (I actually talked to one of the developers about it on the forum, and he said it was so the community could make more stuff anyway. Lazy? Hm...) Anyway, the editor was better, yet lacking in content, but the game was much, much better. But despite the title, it had nothing to do with the campaings from NWN1.

My advice? Grab a collection of NWN2 and the expansions if you haven't played them yet. They are starting to show their age, but the yare excellent games even today.

hmm ok so the first NWN1 doesnt have anything to do with the second one, ok, because idk, its a little too much talk(text) and well reading it all can get a little bothering,

also i was wondering how is NWN story wise? cause im a big fan of games with great story like (Dragon age origins or Mass Effect series, despite they're dif gameplay style. should i do the reading for the story to make sense and be awesome or it is not the case?

It's been ages since I played NWN1 and 2, but yeah, I don't think there are any connections between them. Maybe some small ones, but nothing major.

As for the gameplay, it's very similar to Dragon Age: Origins and Baldur's Gate. All the stories are well done, but again, NWN1 wasn't even supposed to have a 'game' included at first, so it feels a bit rushed and underwhelming. But that said, you can get a collection with NWN1 and all expansions, and the expansion stories are much, much better. NWN2 also have a great story.

I would recommend both games, though it depends a lot on how much you are willing to overlook. Also, I'm not sure if anyone is playing either game online anymore. I loved NWN1 back when it was just released, as the community was very active, and we got a lot of new content pretty much every day from fans. But that was a long time ago, and I don't think NWN2 ever got as popular as NWN1. If I were to get either game today, it would be mostly to play through the stories once, relive old memories and then move on to newer games again.

I know this is getting waaay off-topic, so I'll direct you to GOG.com. If you want to try Neverwinter Nights 1, they have the Diamond Editon to $10. The Diamond Editon contains the normal game, both 'proper' expansions and a mini-expansion called Kingmaker. This mini-expansions are three modules (adventures) made by BioWare, and were initially sold on their homepage. Full game, two expansions and three of these Premium modules for only ten dollars? And it's guarateed to work on Win7? Now that's a bargain if I ever saw one. ;)

playing borderlands 2,
was playing guild wars 2 before, and before that dark souls pc version, before that Path of Exile, lol.

Soon to play guild wars 2 again, then hopefully open beta starts and PoE forever?
