Ati Dual Drivers, Radeon 7670M problem.
Hello,
So i've searched on forum and couldn't find right answer to fix this. I know this problem exists since beta, but i really hoped GGG fixed it before release.. Ok, so the game is using integrated HD4000 Intel graphics and is lagging. It doesn't see Ati 7670M card in-game. I've changed manually in Ati CCC to run poe.exe as High Performace, game still runs on HD4000 and lags. Is there any way to fix it already or game is still stuck ballz on using integrated card? This really sux. |

Hi, I have an identical graphics card AMD 7670m 2gb in a laptop. Generally I have no problems with FPS aside, I have 1600x900 res and all off (shadows etc) Version of my drivers are Catalyst 13.12 WHQL rev 1.2 UnifL date 06.12.2013. Returning to FPSs, not avoid sometimes some strange clipping with larger clusters of monsters, or when I open the box (I play Ambush). FPS go mad from 40-90 points. I hope that will solve the problem and you will enjoy the game. Yours sincerely

" Hi Emrycl, I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. I recommend following the instructions in this thread to make sure Path of Exile is detecting your dedicated graphics card: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/105676 Where the post I linked mentions going into your "Display Driver settings" the precise steps may vary depending on your manufacturer. If you have an AMD card you should be able to adjust its profile in the Catalyst Control Center. To do so please go to the "Power Settings" heading and open the "Switchable Graphics" page. From there, please ensure that Path of Exile is set to "High Performance" mode. Don't worry if this change isn't reflected in-game, as it should improve performance regardless. " Hi Wloczykijo, I'm also sorry to hear about your issue. Could you please check if Path of Exile is detecting an integrated Graphics card? If it is it will probably say something like "intel graphics" in your options menu. If so I recommend following the instructions above. If not, could you please create your own thread so that we can look into this case in more detail? From what you've posted, you don't seem to have a lot of RAM, which may also be causing issues. If that's the case I recommend lowering your texture settings to medium. If you continue to have problems with FPS it may also help to add -gc 2 to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target if you're playing on the standalone client, or your Launch Parameters if you're using the Steam.
