Necromancers: the worst designed enemy in game
I think the only problem with necros is that they res corpses far too quickly. Make them res about 50% slower and they wouldn't be a problem.

*On a serious note, it takes some understanding to apprehend tactical problems in the game. Necroes are difficult, but only if you treat them like every other trash zombie/skeleton mob. They're like hot women, you've got to single them out and get rid of them fast. Other examples of annoying mobs include flicker mobs. These guys piss people off because nobody bothers to do something differently. The typical strategy is to charge in and start firing/hitting, and run when you find most of your health orb gone. You can't run from a flicker mob. Ultimately, when you come up against something new, you can complain about it, but that's about equally effective and won't help you much. Or you can treat dealing with it as your challenge as a player, and face it. Or you could play an easy game. If something were unbalanced, the devs would kick in and fix it. I suggested this some time ago and I will repeat this from time to time :P
Make necros less annoying without making them easier!! Necros should raise undead slower but have a ranged attack instead. Make them work like archers when there are no corpses near. Right now blowing up all corpses or freezing everything makes them stand in place and do nothing. Sometimes they may run away from you and sometimes they may make an attempt to hit you, they look like retards that kinda want to fight you but don't know how to move their giant claws. With ranged attack they should attack between raising allies. This would mean that killing hordes of undead on chracter without cold damage or detonate dead would be somehwat viable. At the same time necro would be hitting you so you would still get punished while doing it. Additionally necros will do something even if all his allies are alive. I don't agree with complaints that necros are too difficult, I don't really mind fighting them as they are now. Still, their design would be much better with such a simple change. Never had a problem with thinking. Sometimes i attack the minions n nothing happens overall. So i run the minions through a chokepoint. Split them up, then head for the nec. But most of the time you can just pound down the nec before his minions even reach you.

Get the "Detonate Dead" gem precisely for situations like this. Can't resurrect bodies that have been gibbed... and then they're powerless!
