Your favorite CWDT 4 link?

My trapper is 60+ now and since I haven't ripped just yet I was thinking of replacing my lightning trap 4L w/ a CWDT 4L, but with the recent nerfs I really wasn't sure what combo would be good for a trapper. Looking for thoughts/opinions! Personally I thought enduring cry/molten shell/enfeeble would be a pretty good combo.

Trapper is pretty decent geared, nowhere near GG geared, but I am 3.5k life w/ 75% all resists w/o purity or any resist auras.

Although it might not be the most effective ever, my personal favorite is CWDT (level 1) + Arctic Breath (level 1) + Spell Totem (leveled normally) + Blind (leveled normally). You can substitute Incinerate over AB if your love of chilled ground pales in comparison to mine (perhaps with Knockback instead of Blind), or Frost Wall if you're big on piercing projectiles.

blind works only on hit or?!

Molten shell is useless becdause of low level. And if you level the cwdt it become obsolete.

So replace your molten shell with a taunt totem. Sure, it will only take one hit because of low hp but it will reset the mobs aggro on you which will save.

Or, go dual curse (require node or uniqe) and put temporal chains as well as enfeeble.

blind works only on hit or?!

It counts spell hits too. My only Blinds were on Spell Totem and Tempest Shield, and I was noticing stars above monsters. Regardless of which was the cause, spells work.

Isnt flame totem faster casting than both AB and Incinerate? You want as many hits as possible to apply the blind.

But if you take the spell totem route, why not just use summon skellies with blind? :)

Because the health of Flame Totem is dependent on the Flame Totem gem level, and the health of Skeletons is dependent on the Summon Skeletons gem level. However, the life of a Spell Totem is dependent upon the level of the support gem. Essentially, this setup creates a totem which actually has a chance of surviving multiple hits, while keeping the CWDT damage threshold at minimum.

i just was confused because i know that it does not work with spectral throw, atleast the inbuilt one in bor
