Not everyone like the theory crafting part of the game some ppl only want something they know work rather than leveling several charrs to make something work for yourselfs. Also when you first begin playing you should probably follow a guide

Go to the class section and find a build you like in a guide. Follow it!

One of the builds I find best for surviving Nemesis league while having OK damage is, ironically, a melee dual wield+splash+endurance charge on melee stun duelist spec'd in physical damage swords and IR. I managed to take him to merci docks, where he got killed by the LA exile, by 1 random unlucky triple shock.
