Is there any side quest in Dread Thicket?

I've never been there since there's no quest. Just wondering if I miss out anything in there?

Not all areas will have quests linked to them. If anything, I think PoE needs a lot more side areas.
D2 had one for almost every outside zone, from memory. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

Dread Thicket is intended as a grinding area. It has a unique boss at the end and I think it might also be guaranteed to have a large chest.
