GPU temperature goes to 100c screen blank and comp frozen

i've got vsync enabled in tanks and yes 60fps...there isn't anything that caps my frame rate other than vsync, it's not even on in the CCC it lets the application decide....doesn't matter anyway 60 fps is fine monitor can't do more than 75 so why try go higher.

60 fps should be enough but i read there are led-monitors that can run up to 120 fps (mostly used for 3d displaying). i don't have one of them either :)

Yup, and if i had the money i would be getting one and a card that will keep up with it...as it is though the 7850 is running well enough on most things...can't quite get up to 60fps in the benchmarks but i'm not expecting to on what is a fairly cheap card...at least not without overclocking.
