Orb of Alteration...

What's the easiest way to get these orbs?...

I'm mapping and running through these fast. I know which affixes to look for, so I'm not wasting the alts.

I'm getting sick of buying them for chaos, almost isn't seeming worthwhile. I may be better spending an alch on them at this point (im doing like lvl 68/69 maps atm).

Any general tips here?

pick up and id every rare you find
vendor the trash

When I get low on alterations I increase my IIR and farm Catacombs and sometimes Chamber of Sins lv1. Once you increase your rarity you should get more rares, but you'll definitely get more blues. Pick them all up and them id them. To keep from getting low on wisdom scrolls, i have days when I'll pick up every white and sell them. I have a Portal gem so I can sell all portal scrolls for wisdom scrolls too. Sometimes I'll sell a few transmutes too because those will get you 4 id scrolls. It takes a bit of time but I guess that's why they call it Grinding Gear Games.
