That's a highly flawed argument.

A mirror is essentially a fixed price for the BiS items. Toytatundra probably means that it's ridiculous that someone who spends a 100 exalts worth of currency could get an item worse than someone who used 1 transmute + 1 regal + 3 exalts on his. Nowhere did he say that crafting should be super cheap.

Let's say a mirror costs 100 exalts, that means the BiS item is worth 102 exalts, because after you get the colors to fit your build, you've essentially just crafted the BiS item yourself in this current system.

People want a crafting system, not a lottery system.

GGG's lottery system is so ridiculous and flawed that its true side has been revealed by the endless "Gimme your orbs, if X happens, you win Y orbs!"

I mean why do they even have orbs of chance? All the orbs are orbs of chance...
