You cannot AFK in POE.. Ever..

so i cleared this area in lunaris level 3. no monsters around anywhere.. sat there and waited 15 minutes.. still no monsters.. i leave the room for 5 mins and come back, I AM DEAD.
does POE randomly spawn monsters when you are afk? i think S0 |

" If you really must AFK in a zone that can spawn monsters (which is stupid) do /remaining and check to see if you've fully cleared the zone. I always afk in places like Crematorium, Warehouses, the sewers, etc.... just make sure no monsters are around and use /remaining

Your title isn't completely true. If you make a very tanky character (over leveled) with regen you can safely walk away. One or two enemies will not kill you.

I love to kill people afk in zones with mobs. They think there safe and have a open party, then I find mobs and drag them to them and kill them, much rage ensues after they get back :D
