How to I change accounts on steam client?

I messed up when I dl'd POE from steam and tried to link it. I couldn't remember my PW so I put in a bs username when frustrated andddd it made that my "linked" account to steam. How do I get off there so I can log back into THIS account for my POE? (I reset my pw to get back on here)
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work for me. Last bumped on Apr 20, 2017, 2:21:28 AM

Please log into our website with your Steam account and send a PM to us at our Support account here: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Support If you could let us know that you would like to unlink that account from Steam and specify the email address that you would like on your account, we should be able to arrange this for you and then unlink your account. However, if you're not interested in keeping your current Steam account you can simply overwrite it by linking a different account to Steam.
