When do you get passive skill point from quests and how many?

Where and how many passive skill points is it possible to get from quests? I saw a thread where someone said you can get like 20, is this true? I havnt got any yet...

IIRC,

You can get up to sixteen total.
In each difficulty,

A1 gives you 1 for the deep dweller quest, and 1 for the fairgraves quest.
A2 gives you the option to get 1 skill point in the quest, "Deal with the bandits",
and 1 for opening the barricade.

There are 4 difficulties.

Hence, you can get 4*4= 16 skill points. I may have omitted some detail or gone wrong somewhere.
This is all subject to change, as OB is due real soon.

With the addition of Act 3 and the removal of the fourth difficulty when OB hits, assuming you get 2 skill points in Act 3 as you do in other Acts, instead of 4*4 it would be 3*6 which would give you 18.

When you Kill Piety in the 3rd act, you get 2 skill points as a reward now. (2 for each difficulty making it 6 in total.)
