Why are orbs of fusing so rare?

I think those orbs should either have a drop rate around portal scrolls or every time every time a completely linked item (regardless of # of sockets) is vendored you should get orbs of fusing equal to number of links.

They drop rarely to ensure the market isnt flooded with 5L & 6L items which, when you think about it, is a very healthy thing to ensure.

I certainly dont want the economy in the hardcore leagues to inflate due to a fusings change. I also don't want the frequency of 5L & 6L to increase. It takes away from the longterm aim(s) of players like myself.

So far, in Nemesis, I've had 2 5L's drop for me. Which is insane considering I never obtained one in Onslaught :(

You're basing your conclusions on your personal experience when drops are RNG based...



Look, I 6L this armor in 2 fusings! surely 6L chances can't be worse than 1 on 10?

I've been playing since July 2012 and have found only two 5 links, from drops and only mid level items.

That's 1 every 200 or so days.

Not to mentioned all the fusings I've wasted trying to 5 link a 6 socket.

Is this reasonable?

I thought it was 8 alts=1fusing? 2 alts per jeweler, 4 jeweler per fusing...

And you can get lucky and just fuse something in a couple fusings.. 5Ls are much easier now, actually getting 6sockets is probably harder lol

yes fusing is so rare i hate it to.. when you start crafting you lose all fusing so fast and if no luck you stuck in progressing your skill set so game starting boring.. :( random factor in craft killing me
