PoE a copy of diablo?

hello everyone, my father is playing diablo 3 and i don't since its bad. but i wanted to know how to make it understand that PoE is not just a copy of d3 but a better game on its own please guys help me :P

It's not a copy of Diablo 3. . .it's a copy of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction.

Seriously, I would just get him to play Path of Exile. That is the best way to get him to understand why it is better.

It's not a "copy" by any means.

It builds upon D2 but has some very different mechanics in place.

Real character customization, massive passive skill tree, skill gems and support gems, 6player partys, seperate leagues, dark and gritty dungeons just to start you off.

It's got everything D3 was supposed to have, and it's free. How can you not switch someone over to a free to play game?!

i dont even think poe and diablo 3 have anything in common other than they both use keyboard and mouse for input and a videocard port for output.


its totally a copy of diablo 2 tho, much improved, hell i personally would call it the true d2 sequel if anything.

Also I am sick of PoE being called a clone, something never leveled against Diablo 3. Truth is that the Diablo 2 team has been fired, and Diablo 3 has no connection to the earlier games beyond name and franchise rights. Diablo 3 is a completely different game made by different people and is as much a "Diablo clone" as any other ARPG.

they are both arpgs? seriously though, diablo 3 is a good action game that has no replayability. PoE is has a great rpg system, great item system, great replayability, and other great things. the difference is the PoE is just better
