New Support: Projectile Wall bounce aka Ricochet (Like Spark)
Like spark bounces off walls...used to bank attacks off doorways or give missed projectiles another opportunity to bounce and hit an enemy. Can be used with fork/lmp/gmp/etc. Tons more application.

Spark will lose one of its unique characteristics this way.
Ppl also want flicker support, and "returning projectiles". Come up with new effects instead of copying existing ones. --- I think it'd be cooler to just add a new spell that bounces off walls, but doesn't have random movement, and is clearly different, like some spiked balls, or such. --- EDIT: Actually, if the Support has "Projectiles can bounce off walls once", it might be cool, and let you do some ranged attacks around the corner. I would support the idea only if the gem has a chance to bounce and reduced damage of course
Why? because that skill would do parties even more light crazy, so if it only remain for a time its fine, else its wrong |

" the thing about spark is it's already got riccochet....like many other skills allready have splash/detonate dead/ chaos damage/ multiple projectiles/etc It's just putting a new support out there for variety. So shooting in halls or banking shots etc just adds more potential huge number of builds. |

But sure, balance could come from 80% base damage, or %dmg diminished returns per bounce? Ie loses 10% damage per bounce. can bounce up to 3-4 times. I'm sure there are many ways to balance it. I'd argue just costing a slot is balance in on itself. But that's up to the developers to decide when they make it and test it...and you know they will ;)

TwoCoins, my point was that to differentiate it from Spark, Ricochet gem would add a fixed amount of bounces: 1 or 2 max, instead of just "infinite" like Spark has.
Spark is not limited in terms of bounces, but in terms of projectile duration. Forum Warrior - Why are you creating a thread about this subject? Use Search!
