Seriously POE could be a great game but...

1.) My initial Complaints about this game is how I did not have the Freedom to build my character any way I please, for example I go All out Crit Damage with some Health, I can instantly kill myself with a Spell, possibly melee, or ranged attacks now because my armor damage reduction over hits a mob and 1 hit kills myself so I can't use this build.

I understand POE is supposed to be a survival game when it comes to Hard-Core Characters and supposed to be a challenge but when a Monster one monster out of many can just cause you to 1 hit kill yourself it kills the game for me.

2.) Now I have been keeping up with the forum thinking of returning to POE, Unsure yet after die 4 times due to killing myself in Hard-Core and I read about things like this.

Nerfing characters or major changes should not even be in the game, I mean you all call it balance, but making massive changes after a person has worked hard on a new character hit a high level, and then possibly dies to a change made in a patch is stupid, its the reason I quit World OF Warcraft honestly I loved WOW, but every since Burning Crusade came out they nerfed my mage I quit the game all together no point in playing the game anymore because I didn't like the path they took and made the game go down-hill to me. Same thing with path of exile all these changes you all make ruining a build someone found that works well for them then they die because of it, The restoring of characters because a person dies in Hard-Core due to a bug, like really how many accounts have got hacked, or players have died due to disconnect and no restore, I mean I love Having hard game-play but this is pretty stupid that these type of things ruin games like Path OF Exile.

Locking Classes as well so that a player has to complete a entire play-through before playing the game also is pretty stupid to me.

Lack OF Customization is stupid.

And on another note something I totally do not like about the game at all, The Ability to Set my own difficulty on my character, what if for example I hate hard-core but want to play Hard Mode instantly as soon as I start POE why not give me this option to immediately start at a hard level of the game with harder monsters and such.

POE has potential but I have to agree Nerfing, and making hard changes to a game like this ruins it especially all the complaints on this new patch like really I don't like how game companies make massive changes to players builds, do not allow them to respec any time they want until they find something they like or FREE character/class change.

Like really its annoying when this happens.

Honestly I am not a Diablo 3 fan, but I am going to wait until the game goes on sale and likely buy the game instead, and stick to EVE/Dark Fall Online because I like epic battles that are hard like In Dark Fall, I don't like constant Nerfs that ruin games.

So he might come back, but it's only because POE is the only not completely shit ARPG at the moment. Hell, he might go back to Diablo 2 to try out some new builds. Since people still love that game.

The fact that you even mention D3 says more about you than the entire post.

All I would say is don't believe the hype and be prepared to farm the same areas, that never change, all the time....with predictable mobs etc.
