What is up with the Scion and Brutus?

me personally,
i think shes an exile because shes hot, always gets what she wants and was banished for being too cray and rambling on about stuff...no one ever stands up to these chicks and tells them to stfu wish i could send my girlfriend to this island, those two would have tons to talk about and be bffs. From what she says throughout the game, I'm getting that she's some past reincarnation of someone or something. May have had a thing going with big B back in that day.

The true sign of craziness?
She flip flops back and forth from being really freaked out about some things to being completely indifferent, almost in a suicidal catatonic state, about others. |

Upon entering the library in act 3, the Scion says she used to hide out in the library in Oriath. Perhaps the Scion just knows her history?

I'm of the opinion that the Scion is actually the 'proper' storyline character to play through Path of Exile with. Given the quotes she has as you're progressing through the game, she seems to have more of a connection with the horrors of Wraeclast than the other PC characters.
There are a bunch of quotes from her that still relate, but these two I think are some of the most apt for what I'm thinking: Having killed Kole: "You were a son of Wraeclast, and I am its daughter." Having killed Dominus: "Between man and nightmare, that is where I've always stood Dominus, long before you did." I think the Scion is the living incarnation of Wraeclast itself, fighting against its own nightmare. |
