Toggle for Cast while standing still
Is it possible to get a toggle option for certain "QWERT" slots so that you always stand still while casting, or move-cast when holding down a key. When I'm playing my Ranger, I find I'm always holding down this key and whenever I'm attacking, and on my Duelist I use it for Reave constantly, but not the other skills.
It would be really helpful if there was an option to right-click on the skill, and a tick box would pop up where you can reverse the usual move or not move option. Last bumped on Mar 5, 2017, 6:47:37 AM

Bumping this. I'm still frustrated at the times when I almost click on a mob to attack it, and find myself running towards it instead. I don't want to have to hold down a key 90% of the time.

Deal with it. You are supposed to engage monsters not stand still and attack. Botters paradise.

Having to hold down shift is annoying, it would be nice to have a toggle for it. +1 to OP's idea.
-1 to DirkAustin's strange post. Botters can easily hold down shift whenever they want to without it causing them any negative effects, so they already live in the paradise world you seem to think the OP is suggesting for them. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

PLEASE add this feature. Not having this annoys me with various skills. It is probably most frustrating with any ranged skill + LMP/GMP. The spread is controlled by click distance, but if you click too far from your character they move instead. I /never/ want to move when using spectral throw or lightning arrow, if I did I would just click to move where I wanted to move to and then attack, I don't want the game making pathing choices for me. Another option that needs to be toggleable for skills is "Disable targetting". Some skills I never want to target a specific enemy with, mainly AOE. It's annoying when your AOE ability gets centered on something that isn't standing right where you want to cast the spell. |
