DW Dyadus with EE and light trigger

With alternating fire and cold damage you get -25 res for fire and cold and if you add lightning damage you get -50% res always on for cold and fire (except on dual strike and ST)

the lightning is just there to trigger EE not to deal damage

just wanna put this out for some opinion before i dump my ex on 2 dyadus.. lol

Your Lightning Strike will just be looking at +25% Resists every hit because every hit deals Lightning Damage.
-50 fire and cold the lightning is not supposed to deal dmg

lightning strike take 50% of your phys dmg to lightning, how is that gonna happen where u wont do light dmg?

You would be better off using Spectral Throw as it alternates weapons thrown when dual wielding. Then use Frenzy for single target as it alternates as well.

I'm gonna make this build eventually. You also can't have any flat cold or fire damage on any of your gear or it won't work.

edit: I just realized ST is not viable because the same element will hit multiple times

I'm pretty sure you got how EE works wrong. E.G Attacking with Fire alone will give the target +25 to fire and -50 to cold and lightning. With Fire and Lightning, the target will get +25 to fire and lightning and -50 to cold. So you can scrap lightning damage altogether.

ST works just fine, you just have to make sure you don't hit things at the edges and you have to use it in multiplies of 2. It'll result in the target getting hit by fire, which goes through, followed by the cold, and then the returning fire and cold.

Cyclone is another good candidate as one spin hits twice and it alternates weapons per hit.
you dont need the lightning mg at all
mainhand does fire dmg
offhand does cold

mainhand hits on first attack monster gets +25% fire resi -50% cold/lightning resi
offhand hits after that and deals cold dmg,the monster gets +25% cold resi -50% fire/lightning resi

adding lightning dmg to every hit would just reduce your dmg to 50% physical/lightning

mainhand hits with fire and lightning dmg monster gets +25% fire/lightning resi -50% cold resi
offhand hit,monster gets +25%cold lightning resi -50% fire resi

EE only checks which dmg you dealt when you did elementaldmg
did you deal fire dmg ?
-yes the monster gains 25% fire resi
-no the monster loses 50% fire resi
than it checks the same for cold/lightning dmg
-yes the monster gains 25% resi
-no it loses 50% resi

it doesnt matter for if you attacked with 1 or 2 elements you will only get -50% resi for the element(s) you didint use in the attack before
ahhhhhh ok I got that wrong about EE.... but in theory this should work right? (without the lightning dmg)
