I'm sure this is a detail most people ignored in the Dominus fight, but if you go up the stairs where he's standing at the start of the fight, you'll see this:

i actually went up those stairs and saw it too, and no, its not dominus real body. Like everything else, they are merely tools used by dominus.
It could be an experimental thing like grigor.

I thought Dominus is just super augmented like Brutus, fidelitus etc.
But with much more research and effect. That body could just be some kind of power source.
