questions on whirling blades

hello good people. Hope everybody is having a wonderful day.

I was messing around with the whirling blades gem when I noticed some stuff
(probably nothing new, it just raised some questions for me)

I have these 2 weapons in my stash:

* a dagger: gutting knife with 1.38 Attacks per second
* a sword: corsair sword with 1.83 Attacks per second


I thought personaly whirling blades scaled on attack speed? I'm not sure and I cant
find info on it anywhere.

Anyway,
with the sword my whirling blade takes 1.19 Seconds
with the dagger my whirling blade takes 1.14 Seconds


Does whirling blade increase on attack speed when ur using daggers over swords?
because I really thought the corsair sword would give me a faster whirling blades.


If anybody can shed some light on this I'd be very happy.

The only reason I would imagine the dagger being faster is if you were dual-wielding with two daggers, but tested using only one sword. Dual-wielding grants 10% more attack speed.

Whirling Blades has attack timer that's independent of weapon speeds, but scales with attack speed modifiers.
