Tabula Rasa crafting

Somthing came up in my mind. Can you craft Tabula rasa with a orb of chance? Does the simple robe i use it on need to be 6 socket for that ? Can it work on a lower item level item?

It works with any simple robe, sockets don´t matter.
But you can also get the "thousand ribbons" simple robe, so trying to chance it is probably not worth it. |

No As long as it's the same base item and is ilvl high enough for where the item can drop (tabula doesn't have a level required afaik, so this doesn't apply in this case, for this item. |
